FORUMS

Where Tomorrow’s Top Leaders Engage with Today’s CEOs

The invitation-only Vanguard Forums — being held online in 2020 — bring together current and future C-suite leaders in a uniquely enriching dialogue with each other and a faculty of peers, top-tier CEOs, board members, and other experts.

Together, the participants share what works – and what does not – along with perspectives on leadership opportunities and challenges across their sectors.

The Forums develop critical top leadership insights, skills, and capabilities through pragmatic learnings not found via conventional conferences or business school offerings.

The Forum leadership experiences deepen as participants become part of the Vanguard Network.  In the Network, they can participate in the private online networking platform called Connect, listen to a podcast with a guest like Philips board member David Pyott, or join a leadership dinner with the likes of innovation guru Bob Langer.

Typical Session Topics

  • Building High Performance Teams and Cultures

  • Leading in the Accelerating and Converging Environment: Building New Competencies and Capabilities

  • Managing Board Relations in an Era of Shareholder Activism

  • Learning and Adopting Best Practices from Other Companies and Industries

  • Workshop: Creating Your Company Narrative

  • Cultivating a Culture of Digital Innovation: New Strategies on Leadership and Talent to Shape the Future of Your Industry

Who is Eligible to Participate?

Vanguard Forum delegates are chosen from across the global business ecosystem and include:

  • Top performers with CEO or C-suite potential

  • Executives currently reporting to a CEO (level 2) or a CEO’s direct report (level 3)

  • High talent individuals who have recently taken, or are preparing to take, additional leadership responsibilities

  • VP/SVP or higher, depending on the size and structure of the organization

Becoming a Forum Delegate

Delegates are accepted into the Vanguard Forums in two ways. The Forums extend direct invitations to high talent individuals identified by the advisory boards, faculty members and industry leaders.

The Member Company program enables organizations to integrate the Forums into their executive development process. Member companies nominate 1 to 4 executives annually to the Forums, and its follow-on curriculum. This ensures a pipeline of qualified, prepared individuals to advance into greater responsibility.

Member companies have the privilege of consulting on the Forum agendas and ongoing curriculum, as well as preferred pricing. To learn more, contact us.

Partner-Sponsors

A select number of industry-leading organizations are invited to collaborate on Vanguard Forums. While conventional acknowledgment and branding opportunities are available, sponsor-partners may also:

  • provide input into the program and meeting structure

  • assume roles as moderators or faculty members

  • influence faculty and delegate invitations

  • contribute to the ongoing curriculum
